Dr Pramod Nair is a Consultant Paediatrician with more than 20 years of experience. He works as an NHS Consultant Paediatrician and holds an honorary consultant post at Great Ormond Street Hospital, bringing that same standard of care to families in Milton Keynes.
He graduated from Mumbai University in 1998 and completed four years of paediatric training in Mumbai, gaining his DCH and FCPS qualifications. He has worked in the NHS since 2004, completing his MRCPCH in 2008 and training across a wide range of paediatric specialties including cardiology, endocrinology, allergy, oncology, neonatal and paediatric intensive care, and community paediatrics.
His special expertise is in paediatric cardiology and paediatric syncope. He is recognised for his management of POTS using evidence based investigation and treatment, and for treating haemangiomas with beta blockers. Above all, he is a well rounded general paediatrician: whatever the concern, he can assess your child, arrange the right investigations at Bloom, and where a sub specialist is needed, refer you directly through his established network.

Unusually for a paediatrician, Dr Nair performs and interprets children's heart scans himself. The doctor who examines your child is the same one doing the echocardiogram and explaining the results, often on the same day. Fewer appointments, faster answers.
