What We Offer

Bloom Health Hospital provides two pathways for fast and dependable testing for Self-Pay Patients:

Onsite Point-of-Care Testing (POCT)

Our centre is equipped with advanced point-of-care testing technology, allowing immediate diagnstic tests to be performed during your visit. POCT includes a range of tests analysing different sample types, such as blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily fluids, providing timely results to support informed clinical decision-making. These tests can be used across urgent care assessments, specialist consultations, and other clinical pathways, particularly when prompt answers are needed to guide next steps.

Why POCT matters:

checkProvides fast information when it's needed most
checkAvoids delays in starting the right treatment or next steps
checkHelps guide immediate clinical decisions
checkAll tests performed by trained clinicians using accredited systems

Comprehensive Laboratory Pathology

Hundreds of blood tests and specialist investigations processed through accredited partner laboratories, covering everything from general health screening to advanced biomarkers. Together, these services give you and your clinician a clear picture of your health, reduce uncertainty, and help guide the right next steps.

Rapid On-Site Blood Tests

Our Rapid On-Site Blood Tests are carried out using Point of Care Testing (POCT), allowing key markers to be assessed much more quickly than through a traditional external laboratory route.

These tests are often especially useful in Urgent Care Centre presentations, where clinicians may need timely information to support decision-making. However, they are not limited to urgent care and may also be appropriate in other clinical settings where a faster result is beneficial.

Rapid on-site blood test - point of care testing

Why Patients Choose Rapid On-Site Blood Tests

Faster access to clinically useful results

Helpful when symptoms need prompt assessment

Supports timely decision-making during a visit

Convenient and reassuring when waiting is not ideal

Laboratory Blood Tests

Our Laboratory Blood Tests are processed through our laboratory partner and provide access to a wider and more comprehensive range of investigations.

These tests are often used when the clinical question is more specific, more detailed, or requires specialist analysis. They may accompany a wide range of appointments, including urgent care, GP-led reviews, specialist consultations, health checks, and ongoing monitoring.

We support testing across:

These tests can support clinicians in identifying or ruling out concerns related to the heart or circulation.
